Native looks to provide its guests with an original dining experience that encapsulates the country’s best wild food that is native to the UK through a combination of innovative cooking and country thrift. Their food looks to unite the country’s best-foraged foods and game in a laid back, full flavour adventure through the British seasons.

Native was concocted by Ivan & Imogen, who together have scaled the mountains of street food markets & pop up restaurants to finally settle in the tranquil setting of Neal’s Yard.

Now, not only does Native provide an outstanding Foraged Food experience in a sustainable model, but with each bill, they add 99p to enable the planting of a fruit tree in the developing world. These trees will not only counterbalance the environmental impact of each diner’s meal but will also help to provide some of the planet’s poorest communities with the opportunity of a sustainable life for them and many generations to come.

Working within a network across Africa, Asia and South America, Green Earth Appeal, Native’s tree planting partner, who are also a United Nations Environment partner, help to provide “exit strategy aid”. This follows a simple but proven process – provide education in agroforestry and land management, infrastructure and trees and end up with sustainability
