Toast originated from owner/manager Justin Orange’s desire to bring a fresh culinary experience to the Goose Green area of Altrincham. The overall resurgence of the town, with its fantastic market hall, and wellspring of bars and cafes, made it the perfect spot to launch something distinct.
Toast has teamed up with Carbon Free Dining, the United Nations backed Restaurant initiative. They have chosen to demonstrate their love for the environment by partnering with the programme.
As a Carbon Free Dining Certified venue, Toast plants trees each month, effectively offsetting the Carbon Footprint of the food they serve. This is done by simply giving diners the opportunity of planting a single tree with each bill for an optional 99p.
